After rocking out last night to Stevie Wonder and DJ Casey Connor at the Music Festival, we popped some Advil and hit the ground running, coffees in hand. The second day of Connections 2016 was back with more incredible keynotes, training sessions, breakout sessions, and more. Can’t make it to Atlanta? Don’t miss the livestream of major keynotes and sessions! Here are three of our favorite highlights:

1. Product keynotes deliver innovation

Both Marketing Cloud and Pardot delivered their keynotes chock-full of brand new features and exciting, transformative product offerings. Marketing Cloud dove deeper into the new Marketing Cloud Lightning announced on Day 1, as well as showed examples of how companies like GM Onstar, Weight Watchers, and Nestlé Waters are taking their customer relationships to the next level with Marketing Cloud. Pardot also unveiled their own Pardot Lightning Components, the latest tool for B2B marketers, spoke about rehabbing the sales and marketing relationship, and were joined by SurfAir.

2. A sneak peek at the future of email

In the world of countless channels, email still reigns supreme as the #1 channel for delivering offers, information, and customer service communications tailored to the needs, interests and behaviors of the consumers. Joel Book, Senior Director of Digital Marketing Insight at Salesforce, and Chad White, Research Director at Litmus, shared examples from innovative brands like Barcelona football club that take personalized content to the next level with predictive analytics and customer data. The duo also shared tips and tricks for boosting click-through and conversion, and pairing your emails for other channels to further engage consumers with a cohesive experience.

3. A panel with top customers

It wouldn’t be a Salesforce event without giving our customers the opportunity to speak for themselves. L’Oreal and American Express took the stage for a fireside chat and an inside look on how they use Marketing Cloud to connect to their customers in entirely new ways. Both brands promise personal, relevant, and engaging communications across every stage of the customer lifecycle, and they shared their secrets for how they continue to deliver (and expand upon) that promise.

Still to come — let’s party (err...network)! After 6pm the Customer Success Expo is transformed into an opportunity for world-class marketers to meet, connect, and enjoy a drink (or two). Be sure to join us tomorrow for the final day of the Conference, featuring incredible inspirational moments from astronaut Scott Kelly and the powerhouse duo behind TheSkimm. Catch it all on the Salesforce LIVE livestream.
