Email is an attractive channel for marketers and one of the reasons why is its relatively low cost of deployment. However, late revisions and do-overs can turn affordable, simple campaigns into costly, complex campaigns.

Tria Beauty, a global retailer of FDA approved laser hair removal and skincare products, has recently worked with their digital marketing agency, Precision Dialogue, to improve efficiencies and in turn, lower email campaign costs. The result has been a huge impact to their bottom line.

How did they do it? By making refinements in these three key areas:

1. Quality Assurance Process
Before working with Precision Dialogue, mistakes in Tria Beauty emails-such as incorrect subject lines and sending at the wrong time of day-were unfortunately not uncommon. Tria Beauty's email errors were not tracked or documented at that time, and sometimes mistakes were even repeated. Things turned around completely when Tria began working with Precision Dialogue. Using their stringent Quality Assurance process, Tria Beauty has gone from an unknown number of errors to a 98.4% quality rate in 2013 to an outstanding 100% quality rate in 2014. Fewer mistakes = fewer emails to resend or correct.

2. Campaign Request Form
Precision Dialogue relies on a Campaign Request Form document to ensure that there is absolute clarity on all details of each deployment between the client and the deployment team. To help build efficiencies specifically for Tria, Precision Dialogue worked with Tria to customize the form for Tria's unique business and email requirements in order to eliminate any confusion and streamline the process.

3. Collaboration
Tria Beauty serves customers around the globe, and as a result, has many variations in their creative. They have worked with Precision Dialogue's team to standardize and templatize many design and coding elements. Also to streamline the process even further, Tria now often supplies the full HTML versions of the creative, not just the design files, so that Precision Dialogue simply uploads and runs through the QA and deployment processes.

With the efficiencies Tria has gained, they now have the budget to expand their email program into seven new distinct regions and languages in Europe. Precision Dialogue is assisting to replicate the current processes and campaigns into these regions so that the expansion will be seamless.
