Mark Vozzo has been a marketer his entire career. He has held senior online marketing roles with the following companies: Citect (Schneider Electric) where he learnt foundational skills like HTML, Web server admin, Content Management Systems (CMS), Email Marketing and eCommerce shopping carts and pre-Google SEO. After 8 years with Citect, Mark decided it was time for a changed and joined Fairfax Media which pushed his SEO and Analytics skills in to the fast lane as the in-house search guy working on news sites - www.smh.com.au, www.theage.com.au and all other media mastheads. He trained up web development teams, editorial teams, UX teams on search engine optimisation. After 2 year at Fairfax, Mark was head hunted to join the digital team at Microsoft Australia to lead search and analytics. This brought Mark's SEO skills to the global stage, working with Redmond HQ to have the microsoft.com sites rank well for local Google.com.au traffic. He delivered successful SEM programs for the launch of Windows 7, Office 2010 and other products and major events. After 2.5 years at Microsoft, Mark join Salesforce.com in an APAC role working to optimise the 6 x APAC sites for organic search. He also rolled out an entire APAC SEM program that tracks every keyword across Google, Yahoo, Bing and Baidu across 5 countries. He was able to optimize the program to generate maximum ROI. He now heads up inbound marketing to drive as much traffic from banners, retargeting, search (both paid and organic). Mark loves technology, gadgets and appreciates art, design and architecture.
