Salesforce has been one of the pioneers for low-code application development, and this year we have seen a wave of excitement around the strategic adoption of low-code as a cornerstone for digital transformation. At Dreamforce 2019, we saw a lot of enthusiasm around low-code development as we shared our latest platform vision through keynotes and breakout sessions.
The Salesforce Customer 360 Platform lets any company rapidly deliver truly connected experiences for customers, employees, and partners. As a powerful, integrated low-code platform, the Salesforce Platform empowers everyone to build connected experiences using a broad suite of tools, from low-code declarative to pro-code developer experiences, enabling admins and developers to quickly build apps and respond to business needs. We were excited to announce the continued expansion of our low code strategy into new areas such as the new Einstein Voice Skills, which bring declarative development to custom voice-driven apps. The best apps are never done, and part of delivering continuous innovation is supporting modern release management that empowers companies to not only quickly deliver but also continuously evolve and innovate into the future.
Our vision for low-code application development was recognized earlier this year by Gartner in the Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Low-Code Application Platforms, which recognized Salesforce as a Leader.* Gartner noted our strengths in continuously delivering innovative features that allow companies to easily build automated, process-driven experiences and customize trusted, AI-powered apps. Salesforce is also #1 in hpaPaaS based on market share worldwide in 2018 according to the latest Gartner market share report**.
But what excites us even more is the recognition we get from our customers. Customer reviews provide insights into the implementation process and support infrastructure as well as product capabilities. We are excited to announce that Salesforce has been recognized as a Gartner Peer Insights Customer’s Choice for Enterprise Low-Code Application Platforms.
There are many great reviews on the Peer Insights page, but I thought I’d share with some of my favorites:
