Business software review site G2 Crowd just released its Fall 2015 evaluation of Social Media Management providers and we’re happy to announce that Salesforce Marketing Cloud Social Studio has been named a leader. This result puts Salesforce as a leader, based on a high customer satisfaction score and the largest market presence across all vendors in the report.
What makes us particularly excited about this news is that G2 Crowd creates this report based on reviews from users. These are companies who use Social Studio everyday to connect with their customers on social and do amazing things in marketing, service and sales. Feedback like this is important to us and informs our product direction and strategy.

A few things stood out for us in the reviews. Users praised Social Studio for it’s design across our desktop and mobile apps. This is important and a major focus for Salesforce. As companies continue to deploy social apps deeper into their business, a focus on usability and mobile access increases adoption and success in their social programs.
Beyond design and usability, the report also singled out Social Studio’s scheduling and workflow features, describing them as “powerful and robust.”. These types of features are in demand for companies as they build programs on social that cross marketing, service and sales. By creating a solution that encourages collaboration and connectivity between teams and groups, Salesforce is helping businesses achieve their goals.
This evaluation also found that the majority of Social Studio customers believed in the direction that the product and Salesforce is headed.
