The October 2015 Release is Now Live in the Marketing Cloud! 

The October Release will serve as Marketing Cloud's final release of the year and we are going out strong! We are coming off of the AWESOME momentum of our three Trust releases and building on that positive energy for our final release. We are continuing to channel our passion for trust into this release with a number of new innovative features that will position you for a successful start to the New Year. 

With the exciting features in this release, customers can now expect more seamless first-time user experiences, additional ways to enhance the customer journey, and increased data security. 

Below are some of the top features for this release:

1. Marketing Cloud Connector with Data Streaming: We've re-imagined the first-time configuration & user experience of connecting the Marketing, Sales, and Service Clouds. The process is now faster, more intuitive, and more user-friendly. In addition to the new user experience, customers can now stream their all of their Salesforce data without the help of a technical resource. Learn more!

2. CloudPages Events in Journey Builder: Smart Capture forms now allow Journey Builder to use form captures in CloudPages as event triggers. This capability is compatible with Smart Captures in the form of a landing page, microsite, Facebook tabs, and more! Learn more!

3. Tokenized Sending for Active Audiences: Active Audiences now supports the use of tokens. If you have a customer using Tokenized Sending for their Marketing Cloud emails or other activities, they can now use those same tokens to generate Active Audiences and target ads. Learn more!

4. Menuless STOP Option and Immediate Unsubscribe (Mobile): A menuless STOP option will now occur for all international short and long codes. In addition to menuless stop, immediate unsubscribe will now occur for all short and long codes for Mobile customers. This will affect your customers especially if they do not currently have an unsubscribe function in their account. Learn more!

5. Predictive Scores with Predictive Intelligence (Beta):Customers can now leverage their customer data and machine learning techniques to generate predictive models, with each contact scored on their propensity (likelihood) toward a given action/goal. The result of this is a Predictive Audience or Journey. Marketers can now use contact propensity scores to identify new audiences to target and optimize existing segments and journeys. Learn more!

6. Rich Media Available for GroupConnect: Rich media provides a great option for customers to enhance messages in LINE by providing multiple pieces of content into one message and embedding actionable URLs within full-screen width images. Learn more!

7. New Linked Assets for Campaigns: Customers can now link assets, such as a large-size PSD files, to a campaign. Linked Assets reside outside of the Marketing Cloud as they remain too big to upload to Portfolio. The customer provides a URL for the asset storage location and associates it to a campaign. Learn more!

8. Duplicate a Content Block with a Single Click (Content Builder Closed Beta): Customers now have the ability to duplicate a content block with a single click and then edit the duplicated block to fit their needs. Learn more!

9. Upload Content Directly into the Dynamic Content Rules Modal (Content Builder Closed Beta): Dynamic Content rules now make it even easier for customers to upload content. Bypass Content Canvas and use the "Upload" icon in the Select Content area of a dynamic content rule to quickly find an image to use. Learn more!
