Let's get excited about some of the great new features that were delivered that help marketers have an even better experience and clearer view of the customer journey! With this release, we are not only offering new features, but also an even better experience with enhanced functionality.

We are happy to announce a new email creation experience, enhanced Microsites for CloudPages, and new Journey Builder tools. In this release, Journey Builder is focused on improving the event user experience and has completed some behind-the-scenes work that prepares us for some big changes over the next few months.

Also, for this release, we’ve added an exciting enhancement to our Marketing Cloud Connector in our continued effort to tightly combine the power of the Marketing Cloud with the Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, and to provide a more connected, seamless user experience.

April 2015 Release Top Feature List:

  1. Dynamic Send Preview for Marketing Cloud Connector: This new feature allows customers to preview dynamic and personalized Marketing Cloud emails directly from the Sales and Service clouds. The preview will render exactly the same as the subscriber will see it, giving you the confidence that you are sending the right email to the right person, and that it will render the way it is intended, with the right personalized content in the right place.
  2. Enhanced Microsites for CloudPages: Now customers not only have the ability to easily create individual landing pages; they can now tie those individual pages of their microsite together for one cohesive journey. These enhancements give customers a clearer view of the microsite overall, allowing them to seamlessly make changes to any page at any time.
  3. New Email Creation Experience: For those customers who have opted in to the Early Access to the new content creation tools, they now have a brand new full-screen workflow that will guide them through their email creation experience.
  4. New Email Activity in Journey Builder (Beta): We are currently testing new activities in Journey Builder that give customers the ability to make changes to their email properties without affecting the running interaction, validate the email to insure the email will be delivered before changes are saved, and more.
  5. Schedule Added to the Event Wizard: The new schedule section of the event setup wizard in Journey Builder allows customers to define how frequently their data source is checked for new data.
  6. Content Builder: Customers can now view and review Content Builder emails in Campaign Approvals.
  7. Update to Custom Keys in MobilePush: The custom key field has been extended to allow up to 255 characters. Custom keys can be used to link a push message to a URL or a page within the app. The extended character count allows customers to input longer URL’s when using the custom key function.
