Mad-Men
I think it goes without saying that a lot has changed since the Mad Men era of ads and marketing. Technology dominates the marketing game these days, and the strategy of blasting marketing messages to mass audiences has been replaced with a focus on building relationships by providing value. It’s a brave new marketing world.

That being said, I think Don Draper and his staff would do just fine in any modern marketing department. Apart from their ongoing alcoholism and disastrous personal relationships, the characters in AMC’s hit show Mad Men have many of the personality traits required to be successful in marketing today.

From the content creators like Peggy Olson to the the public faces like Roger Sterling, you probably work with more than a few people that fit one Mad Men personality or another.
