For the fifth year in a row, salesforce.com has earned a spot on FORTUNE Magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For list.
Last year we moved up from #52 to #27, and this year we cracked the Top 20 for the first time with a #19 ranking!
FORTUNE's highly regarded list publicly recognizes industry leaders like Google, Cisco, and salesforce.com for their commitment to customers, partners, and the communities they serve, and for the dynamic culture their employees have built together.
So why is salesforce.com, the enterprise cloud computing leader, the best company to work for? We’ll leave it to the employees to answer that.

To pick the “100 Best,” FORTUNE partners with the Great Place to Work Institute to conduct the most extensive employee survey in corporate America: 259 firms participated in this year’s survey. More than 277,000 employees at those companies responded to a survey created by the institute, a global research and consulting firm operating in 45 countries around the world. Two-thirds of a company’s score is based on the results of the institute’s Trust Index survey, which is sent to a random sample of employees from each company. The other third is based on responses to the institute’s Culture Audit, which includes detailed questions about pay, benefit programs, methods of internal communication, recognition programs and more.
