As a company we take great pride in having built a business that’s worldwide. And one way we celebrate this is by showing our appreciation for the cuisine offered near our offices in the U.S. and abroad.

So move over, Anthony Bourdain. There’s a new globe-trotting foodie at the table – well, several actually. We contacted salesforce.com employees from San Francisco to Sydney for their insider restaurant recommendations. Here’s what they so generously served up. Be warned: This post will leave you yearning for your next meal.

San Francisco

AQ
Menu and décor inspired by the seasons. Executive chef/owner Mark Liberman mixes new and classic Mediterranean flavors that showcase the quality and diversity of local produce, meats and fish.  Notable wine, beer and spirits list, too.

Sotto Mare
Tucked in the heart of North Beach. Authentic Italian highlighted by a seafood-centric menu. Fresh fish and shellfish daily. Its cioppino was featured in Saveur magazine.

Dublin

Town Bar & Grill
Only seasonal, best-at-market ingredients. Seared carpaccio of Irish-caught blue fin tuna belly is decked out in celeriac and wasabi remoulade, soy and sesame. Save room for buttermilk panna cotta with dried and caramelized bananas and hazelnut praline.

Fallon & Byrne
All-in-one restaurant, wine cellar and food hall. It’s all about “the season’s good stuff from land and sea, cooked with gentle respect for excellent ingredients.” Ask for the pre-theatre menu, an excellent value.

Johnnie Fox’s
One of the oldest pubs in Ireland (established in 1798!). Not to be missed: fresh wild mussels, slow-roasted duck in a “secret marinade,” and their famous whiskey gateaux for dessert.

Sydney

deVine Food and Wine
Small, popular, low-lit restaurant with an excellent wine list. Food is great and ambience is busy but relaxed. Ideal for an early dinner after work with friends.

Sailors Thai at the Ivy
Incredible, unique up-market Thai food in an impressive setting. A perfect place to grab lunch. The soft shell crab is off the charts. Extensive wine list.

Opera Bar
Adjacent to the Opera House. Stunning spot to gather, eat, drink, and soak up the amazing atmosphere – namely the iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

London

Nobu
Lively atmosphere, well-studied waitstaff, outstanding food. Do try the black cod. It’s divine.

Zuma
Exceptional service, amazing quality and presentation. An excellent variety of salads, grilled delicacies and tempura if you’re not in a sushi kind of mood. Need to book way, way in advance.

The Folly
For breakfast on the way to the office, hosting a business lunch, or joining friends and colleagues for cocktails and a late bite. Works every way.

Paris

Tse Yang
Luxurious decor, top-notch service, and unforgettable Chinese cuisine. Try the peppered shrimp and duck with smoked tea, followed by jellied almond milk for dessert.

Fakhr El Dine
A 16th arrondissement standout. Refined mezzé, wood-fired grills and more including a variety of delicate pastry-filled specialties. Noteworthy selection of Lebanese wines.

La Bauhinia
In the chic Shangri-La Hotel. Dishes pay respect to French and Asian cultures with their authentic flavors. A grand selection of wines. Experience afternoon tea in the Asian tradition, with delicate pastries and specialty teas.

Munich

Intimate, downtown Austrian restaurant with outstanding service. Well known for its wine recommendations.

Bogenhauser Hof
Heritage-protected, family-run restaurant featuring Gernhard Gleiser’s masterful creations that are crafted with only the finest produce, meats and seafood.

The Grill
Best steaks in town, served in a historical building downtown. Opt for dining on the beautiful terrace if you get a chance.

Chicago

Girl & the Goat
“Top Chef” winner Stephanie Izzard’s West Loop hotspot. A fun, lively atmosphere that’s ideal for groups. Offers several small plates so you can sample several items from the eclectic menu.

RL
Just steps away from Michigan Avenue. Cozy atmosphere, decked out in signature Ralph Lauren style. Summer al fresco dining is a ritual as is winter dining near the fireplace. A favorite among A-listers. Celebrity sightings are likely.

Japonais
A staple for five years and counting. On-the-river location is perfect for summer outdoor dining. Opt for formal dining or head to the lounge for drinks and apps.
