We received nearly 1,000 submissions for our "Make me Mobile" contest! It was really tough to narrow it down—there were so many great contenders—but we’re excited to announce we’ve chosen three finalists. The following companies submitted stories about how going mobile with Salesforce will help transform their sales. One of these finalists with the best story will receive 20 iPads and free mobile consulting.
Finalist 1: Ambrose - submitted by Jack Speece, VP of Sales
Ambrose provides an outsourced human resources, payroll, and benefits platform for small professional service companies. Over the past year, Salesforce has made it significantly easier for Ambrose's sales reps to stay on top of their deals, sales processes, and pipeline. "We're a national company with only 11 salespeople, so we're constantly on the go and meeting with prospects all over the place—being mobile to us is vital, " says Jack Speece, VP of Sales at Ambrose. "The ability to walk through our brochures and materials on an iPad would be very useful. We could also prep for a meeting right before heading in, and afterward we’d immediately update the team on the outcome in Salesforce."
Finalist 2: Siemens PLM Software – submitted by Scott Bell, VP Sales Processes & Tools
Siemens PLM Software provides product lifecycle management (PLM) software and works with companies to help them turn ideas into successful products. Mobility is extremely important to them: "Our strategy is to empower our users to provide real-time updates on the fly and access key analytics without being a prisoner to their laptops," says Scott Bell in his “Make me Mobile” contest submission. "We’ll collaborate more effectively with the ability to access and update information anytime, anywhere in the world."
Finalist 3: Paychex – submitted by Jason Chadwick, District Sales Manager
Paychex is a company that offers a variety of payroll and human resource products and services that help clients run their businesses. They’ve already had success using Salesforce Mobile for the iPhone, but many sales reps don’t have iPhones or iPads. Paychex sees tremendous opportunity in getting more reps on Salesforce Mobile. "With an outside sales team, I very rarely see all my staff every day and it is essential that we stay in touch and I am able to track their productivity on-the-go," says Jason Chadwick, Paychex District Sales Manager. "I think if my reps had iPads, they'd be at least 10 percent more productive."
