So you’re headed to Dreamforce '18 next month. And whether it’s your first time or your tenth, there’s always something new to see or do every minute of Dreamforce. This year will be no exception.
Salesforce CPQ, especially, will be all over the campus with new activations to share the latest best practices to help your business grow. Here's a look at all the ways you'll be able to see everything new from Salesforce CPQ at Dreamforce, but before we dive in, let's start with the basics.
If you aren’t a CPQ expert yet, Dreamforce is the perfect opportunity to learn more about how our Configure, Price, and Quote features can help your business grow. With CPQ, Salesforce can help you easily manage complex pricing and discounting; configurations with inclusions, exclusions, and dependencies; pricing and packaging models, including bundling, ramps, and tiers; and approval workflows. All of this combines to streamline your sales and billing processes, helping your team dedicate more of their time to meaningful work and less to paperwork.
Even though CPQ has traditionally focused on sales, this is changing. More companies are now interested in flexible business models like subscription or consumption selling. This foundational change in how companies sell impacts the back-end of the business as well, including the finance department. CPQ can help meet those needs with Salesforce CPQ + Billing, which allows for recurring revenue, full revenue lifecycle support (including mid-term contract changes with prorations), and renewals. With CPQ, your business can now unify sales and finance, ultimately allowing you to drive predictable revenue for your company and provide the data and metrics that would otherwise not be possible.
If you’re about to jump out of your seat, asking how you can learn more, remember: it’s almost Dreamforce time!
If you're looking to learn more about CPQ and Billing and would like to explore how to help your business grow, Dreamforce is the best place to do it. CPQ will have a huge presence at this year's event with lots of sessions, demos, and fun activities around campus. Here's a taste:
If you’re looking to learn more, be sure to catch our Salesforce CPQ & Billing Keynote on Wednesday, September 26 at 1 p.m. PST (Located at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, Room YB9). CPQ executives will share what’s new with CPQ and how you can look to further your business with the addition of CPQ + Billing.
Some other great sessions to be sure to include in your schedule are What’s New with Salesforce CPQ: Roadmap Sneak Peak and Automating Lead to Cash on the Salesforce Platform.
Want to check out a demo of CPQ, or get some hands-on help? Be sure to stop by the Sales Lodge (also located at the Marriott Marquis) where we’ll have a CPQ demo booth as well as a Genius Bar to answer all of your pressing CPQ questions. Or, if you’re looking to get more in-depth, personalized help, sign up for one of our Hands-On Admin Workshops located at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square.
Because that’s what Dreamforce is all about, right? When you stop by the Sales Lodge, be sure to check out our Configure a Character booth, where you can use CPQ to configure your very own Astro doll to take home with an outfit and accessories. And wherever you see CPQ on campus, be on the lookout for other fun swag.
While CPQ helps to streamline your sales and business processes, the benefits multiply when you extend it to become part of an automated System of Agreement. Every company has a System of Agreement, whether they know it or not. But legacy systems were not built for the speed of today’s business. Salesforce CPQ has partnered with DocuSign and SpringCM to deliver a truly modern System of Agreement -- so you can prepare, sign, act on and manage your agreements all from within Salesforce.
Learn more at the session “Accelerate Sales and Renewals with Salesforce CPQ, DocuSign, and SpringCM” on both Tuesday and Thursday during Dreamforce.
See demos of CPQ, DocuSign and SpringCM and speak to the System of Agreement experts in booths 1118 and 1218, right across from the Salesforce Campground.
Thanks so much to DocuSign for sponsoring Salesforce CPQ at Dreamforce this year.
