Now without further ado, here are the must-see and must-do sessions and events for Wednesday, June 13:
We’re in the midst of the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” — a time when both technological innovation is transforming our daily lives and customers are demanding smarter, faster, and more personalized experiences. In this session, you’ll learn how the Salesforce Customer Success Platform can help you do just that. Salesforce President and Chief Product Officer, Bret Taylor, will lead a keynote and panel discussion around how brands like Ticketmaster, Adidas, and US Bank are using the latest Salesforce innovations — Trailhead, Einstein, and Lightning — to blaze a new trail for customer success.
The Little Kids Rock All-City Band (a Connections 2018 charity partner) will close out the Wednesday morning keynote.
Join us for a hands-on giving back activity for City Kids Camp Dixon: a summer camp that gives Chicago-based students a place to experience nature and other outdoor adventures. You'll get to build Summer Camp Kits (backpack, flashlight, etc.), Wilderness Adventure Kits (compass, binoculars, etc.), and Arts and Crafts Kits (paint, canvas, brushes, etc.). The Summer Camp Kits include a featured item donated by the Wildlife Conservation Society, an organization dedicated to protecting the world’s largest “wild” places in 16 regions across the globe (home to over half of the planet’s biodiversity).

Consumers shop everywhere. Business buyers are just like consumers. They expect the same kind of customer experience even when making business-related purchases. This is just one of many reasons why brands now have no choice but to deliver an end-to-end brand experience – informed by data, of course – at every step along the buyer's journey. In this session, we'll take a closer look at how Lacoste has driven growth across eCommerce, brick-and-mortar, and wholesale and then examine how a number of top brands are now innovating the customer experience with AI, voice, visual search, modernized service, and a lot more.
Join us for a Fireside Chat between Adrian Grenier, Actor/Producer/Director and Co-founder of the Lonely Whale Foundation, and Suzanne DiBianca, Salesforce EVP Corporate Relations, and Chief Philanthropy Officer. A passionate environmentalist, Adrian has dedicated a good part of his career to issues around sustainability, our oceans, and climate change. In this fireside chat, the two will discuss Adrian's latest endeavor, the Lonely Whale Foundation, an incubator for courageous ideas that aims to promote a healthier planet while also driving market-based change on our oceans.
The Party at Connections starts at 7:30 p.m. sharp at Wintrust Arena. Bring your conference badge and ID – you'll need those to get in – but leave the rest of your stuff at the hotel or at coat check (located outside the venue on Indiana Street). Tonight is all about relaxing, having fun, and networking with fellow Trailblazers. You deserve it!
