To get ready for The Party, here are four tips to make it a highlight of your Connections experience:
This is your ticket to The Party. We will be scanning badges, and re-entry will not be allowed.
Your security and safety is paramount to us, so we’ll be doing a full security screening – metal detectors included. Bags larger than 14”x14”x6” will not be permitted – and there is a small bag storage at Wintrust Arena. Attendees are strongly encouraged to return to their hotels to drop off valuables, or to check bags in at the coat check located outside Wintrust Arena on Indiana Street. Wintrust Arena coat check will be open until 12:00 a.m., so you can grab your bag after the show.
Wintrust Arena is located directly across the street from McCormick Convention Center. To support our sustainability goals and reduce traffic on city streets, we encourage you to use the Connections shuttle service to The Party. Shuttles from hotels to Wintrust Arena will stop running at 9:00 p.m. The last shuttles will depart The Party at 12:00 a.m. Taxis and rideshare services have a specific drop-off and pickup location on South Prairie Street, one block east of Wintrust Arena. The “L” drops off 2.5 blocks west of Wintrust Arena:
Illinois law requires bartenders to check IDs before severing any alcoholic beverages. So, if you are fortunate enough to look younger than 30, don't leave your hotel without it.
