New year, new innovations — the Spring ‘16 release is here! As with each release, we love to focus on some key features delivered because of the customer voice.
For those of you not familiar, the IdeaExchange is our customer-driven innovation channel. It’s where members of our community go to create and/or vote on the product enhancements they deem important. We know there are still great ideas that haven't made it onto the product map. We are working closely with the product teams to prioritize and deliver as many of your Ideas as possible. If you haven't already, be sure to check out the IdeaExchange and let us know what enhancements are important to you! In the meantime, check out some of the Ideas that are coming to you in the Spring '16 release.
Following a record-breaking year in which we retired more than 1 million Idea points, we’re excited to deliver another big release. In total, we touched more than 30 customer Ideas and over 200,000 Idea points in the Spring ‘16 release.
Here are a couple of highlights:
After retiring the #1 idea on the IdeaExchange, more than 3 columns in a dashboard, the Analytics team is back with another great customer-sourced idea: Administrator Access to Personal Report Folders, which retires 20k Idea points. With Spring ‘16, you can use a new query scope to find or delete reports and dashboards saved in all users’ private folders.
The Lightning Experience continues to evolve and delivers on a couple of long-standing ideas, including:
Warning when user is about to navigate away from page without saving change (14k points)
Show formula fields on new/detail pages (3k points)
And Process Builder is back with another big release, delivering on 10k Idea points across several Ideas including the highly-requested Drag and Drop Criteria (5k points).
