My second Dreamforce was a truly inspirational experience, fueled by innovation and the potential for business transformation. We made some big announcements, introducing capabilities that will unlock new opportunities for companies and enable them to connect with their customers in entirely new ways. 

What I found particularly notable about this year’s Dreamforce was the integral role our partners played in bringing the promise of Salesforce innovation to life. Not only did partners fill our expo halls as sponsors, but they demonstrated the power of our latest technologies and helped us deliver some of our most exciting Dreamforce news, including the launch of Wave Analytics Cloud and Salesforce Lightning. Our partners also provided many of the real-life stories of customer success that were shared across the Dreamforce campus, delivered in our keynotes, breakout sessions, and theater presentations.

Each year at Dreamforce, we celebrate the most impressive examples of these stories with the Salesforce Partner Innovation Awards. This year’s nine awards recognize outstanding work performed by our consulting partners and illustrate the critical role they play to drive innovation and customer success: 

  • Acumen Solutions helped Aesynt harness the power of the Salesforce Customer Success Platform to improve the effectiveness of its sales, service, marketing and customer engagement processes
  • Accenture rolled out a global deployment at a multinational telecommunications company with one global sales framework that addresses data privacy and residency requirements across cloud and on-premise solutions
  • Bluewolf collaborated with Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection (BHTP) to launch its AirCare coverage, a new service solution that reinvents travel insurance for today’s mobile customer
  • Cloud Sherpas worked with City of Hope to leverage social, mobile and cloud technologies to transform how it conducts leading-edge research in cancer, diabetes, and other life-threatening diseases
  • Deloitte Digital worked with a global media and entertainment company to transform the way they manage their international theatrical distribution business
  • Etherios helped Walgreens to improve its customer service experience through the implementation of Service Cloud
  • Mavens Consulting assisted Eli Lilly, a top 10 global pharmaceutical company, in integrating its business processes with Salesforce and transform the way it connects with Health Care Professionals
  • PwC worked with Wells Fargo Advisors to create a simple and effective mobile experience that helps the organization enhance growth, productivity and collaboration
  • YOUR SL GmbH helped Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetränke AG integrate their business functions with Salesforce to increase time to market, operational efficiency, and retailer and customer loyalty

I would like to congratulate our 2014 Partner Innovation Awards Winners for their achievements, as well as applaud our entire partner community for their commitment to helping companies embrace innovation and successfully transform the way they run their businesses. These customer successes show that the Salesforce partner ecosystem continues to play a crucial role in translating the promise of our technology into reality for our customers.
