Cue the confetti and break out the champagne! For the sixth year in a row, salesforce.com has earned a spot on FORTUNE Magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For list.
We continue to climb the list, cracking the Top Ten for the first time with a #7 ranking this year–up 12 places from last year. Talk about something worth celebrating!
FORTUNE's esteemed list publicly recognizes workplace cultures where employees take pride in their work, trust the people they work for, and enjoy the people they work with and the environment they work in. We’re honored and proud to be in good company on the list with other great tech companies like Google, Intuit, NetApp, Intel, and Microsoft.
What makes salesforce.com one of the best companies to work for? To start, 96% of employees say that people look forward to coming to work here, and 91% say when they look at what they do, they feel a sense of pride. And they’re shouting the #dreamjob love from the rooftops: 96% of employees say they are proud to tell others they work at salesforce.com.

To pick the “100 Best,” FORTUNE partners with the Great Place to Work Institute to conduct the most extensive employee survey in corporate America: 257 firms participated in this year’s survey. More than 252,000 employees at those companies were surveyed by the institute, a global research and consulting firm operating in 45 countries around the world. Two-thirds of a company’s score is based on the results of the institute’s Trust Index survey, which is sent to a random sample of employees from each company. The other third is based on responses to the institute’s Culture Audit, which includes detailed questions about pay, benefit programs, hiring practices, methods of internal communication, training, recognition programs, and diversity efforts.
