During my 6 years in the business, I’ve seen many changes with the big time search players like Google, Yahoo, and MSN (Bing) and how effective it is to advertise in that space. Why is it so effective? Because when people are searching for a solution on the search engines, BOOM! You're there.

Fast forward a couple years to today, where the Internet darlings are the social powerhouses - Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. We're seeing online advertising transform again. It’s no longer just about being present when somebody is looking for something. It’s about the ability to provide a solution (a real solution, not like those infomercials) before they even start looking for an answer. That’s the power of social advertising.
