For the second installment in our What’s New series, we’ll be focusing on two simple yet ubër-handy features we recently added to our Chatter Mobile app - likes and @mentions.

We’ll start with the “Like” option.  Easy concept.  It’s nothing less than a virtual high-five that you can give a coworker for a great post, and you do it right from your mobile device.  Just tap the thumbs-up icon (or the “Like” link, depending on your device) in your Chatter feed to cast your vote.  Whether you’re toasting your CEO’s bold, new vision for your company, or just tipping your hat to the winner of the office donut-eating contest, Liking a post is a simple way to acknowledge your colleagues and gauge the popularity of different ideas.
How we use it:
At events when we’re too busy to stop and type a Chatter comment on our phone, the Like button saves time and still shows we care.
