If you’ve attended Dreamforce, you know music is everywhere. From the star-studded Dreamfest concerts to the foot-tapping soundtracks in keynote rooms, music sets the stage for each moment and keeps the energy high.

So we say thank you for the music, Dreamforce planners. That musical burst of energy comes in handy when we’re on our third espresso of the day and have four more sessions saved in Agenda Builder.

We dug up the oldest Dreamforce playlist we could find on Spotify to bring back the classics that surrounded Dreamforce guests in 2012. This playlist was crowdsourced by Salesforce’s social media community, so it’s a true reflection of what was bumping on our computers, phones, and even iPods in 2012. (That’s right. Apple didn’t officially discontinue the iPod until 2014.)

Interesting tidbits about tracks on the Dreamforce 2012 playlist:

• “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen debuted on the U.S. charts in 2012.

• Fun’s “We Are Young” topped the digital charts in 2012 and broke digital records previously held by Eminem's "Love the Way You Lie.”

• Prior Dreamforce performers Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, and Foo Fighters appear on the playlist.
