What a whirlwind of a winter day in New York City! The Salesforce World Tour made a festive stop in the Big Apple last week–bringing together Trailblazers, exploring new innovations on the Customer Success Platform, and so much more. From an inspiring keynote highlighting our Trailblazers to hands-on demos, a wonderful day was had by all! Catch up on what went on below.

An Exciting Day for Our Ohana...And Even Some Snow!

The morning kicked off with a few fluffy flakes of snow cascading upon the concrete jungle and some classic holiday tunes! In the lobby of Javits Center, carolers sang some of everyone's favorite holiday songs to get everyone in the spirit! Trailblazers from all over came to connect with others, learn about ways to up-level their sales, service, marketing, and even grow their small business. The early morning chill and flakes of snow falling made it perfect weather to be indoors, cozied up with a cup of coffee, and learning about all the latest innovations.

Celebrating Trailblazers

Stephanie Buscemi, CMO, Salesforce, took the stage in the morning to kick off the the Main Keynote, “A Celebration of Trailblazers.” Gifted with the golden hoodie was Shakil Kamran. Shakil started his journey by working 50 to 60 hours in the retail industry. By chance, he became involved with PepUp Tech and went to Dreamforce. Our annual gathering of Trailblazers left him inspired and motivated to make a life-change. Fast forward, and he's now a Salesforce Consultant on Now It Matters. In addition to a wealth of inspiration, attendees were also treated to If you missed the Main Keynote or simply want to relive the magic of it all, you can watch it here.

Giving Back, Doing Good, Feeding the Hungry

The Kids Coding Camp has become something of a staple at Salesforce events. At the Salesforce World Tour, we brought students the chance to code for a great cause, the Water for Life Project.

In addition, Marissa Kraines, Director, Social & Content Marketing at Salesforce had the incredible opportunity to sit down with Nobel Peace Prize Nominee, humanitarian, and chef José Andrés for an exclusive interview. Andrés, a native of Spain, has recently been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his humanitarian work in feeding displaced persons at the border and feeding thousands of people in Puerto Rico who were left devastated in the wake of Hurricane Maria. Check out the full interview below.

In line with giving back, during the keynote, Salesforce.org announced a $2 million dollar donation to New Leaders, an organization that prepares education leaders to deliver breakthrough results in America's highest-need schools and advocate for policies that enable great leaders — and their students — to thrive. The donation from Salesforce.org will focus on supporting New Leaders' leadership programs, transforming schools through a growing network, drive results for hundreds of thousands of children in communities across the country, and a whole lot more. Read more about this donation and the incredible work that New Leaders is doing here.

Getting Cozy with Salesforce Characters

Astro, Codey, Einstein, and SaaSy were out in full force! Some attendees were lucky enough to snap some photos with them. As arguably the four most popular characters in the Salesforce universe, there were often gaggles and groups of giddy attendees waiting to snap a photo. Getting a photo with these fuzzy critters has become somewhat of a rite of passage at Salesforce events!

Eye-Opening Industry Keynotes

Re-shaping and re-imagining data, analytics, and the financial services world has never been so cutting edge. During the Financial Services industry keynote, Trailblazers shared insights and live demonstrations of how they are unlocking the full power of their consumer and commercial lines of business to help unify the experience and drive unprecedented customer loyalty. New York City is home to various financial institutions, leaving many attendees with a greater sense of the power of the offerings from Financial Services Cloud. Catch the keynote here.

Data and analytics drive many decisions that our Trailblazers make everyday when scaling their businesses. In the moment of action, how can you deliver algorithmic insights? The Einstein Analytics keynote answered that question and more. This session brought out some real-world examples of data and analytics intelligence in action. Optimizing Sales, Service, Marketing and Operations with Einstein Analytics to drive growth through data and analytics was also covered, watch the full Einstein Analytics keynote here.

The marketers' playbook has forever changed in this Age of Intelligent Marketing, with transformative technologies like AI redefining consumer interactions. During the Salesforce World Tour in New York, Salesforce product experts and Trailblazers like Ticketmaster and BBVA saw firsthand how the Number 1 marketing platform is enabling marketers to better know, personalize, and engage your consumers. They learned how to build brands and grow ROI from innovative companies, while connecting with other trailblazers to gain new insights, have fun, and win the hearts, minds, and loyalty of your consumers.
