What would you do with $250,000 in funding for your startup? For the three finalists of the third annual Dreampitch, who are preparing to take the main stage at Dreamforce a week from today, this is a very pertinent question.

Just a few weeks ago, eight Dreampitch semi-finalists joined us in San Francisco to make their Ultimate Elevator Pitch in the time it takes to ride the elevator up to the top of the Salesforce Tower, the tallest building west of the Mississippi. They pitched to our own President and Chief Product Officer, Bret Taylor.

You can watch all eight elevator pitches here:

From those eight, three standout startups — DRAIVER, Radius8, and CarServ — were selected from this pool of impressive pitches based on their innovative ideas, traction in the market, and use of the Salesforce Platform.

And next week, these three finalists will have five minutes (sharp) to pitch their companies to a panel of judges and an audience of thousands. After answering the judges’ questions and receiving live feedback on their pitches, one winner will be selected to take home a $250,000 investment from Salesforce Ventures, a launch package from Salesforce AppExchange, a T-Mobile mobile solution package, and trip to the T-Mobile Tech Experience Center in Bellevue, Washington.

Watch each finalist give their Ultimate Elevator Pitch below. Then, mark your calendar for September 26 at 4:00 pm PST to watch (online or in-person in Moscone West at Dreamforce) as each of these three startups puts their best pitch forward.

Meet Draiver

Companies need to move their vehicles every day, and companies like Penske, UPS, and Amazon use DRAIVER to move their vehicles at scale.

As CEO Zarif Haque describes, moving vehicles is a necessary evil for the automotive industry because if a company's car isn't in the right place, they don't make money. That's where DRAIVER comes in. DRAIVER is a self-learning logistics platform that moves vehicles by planning, executing, and instructing drivers that move vehicles. Built entirely on the Salesforce Platform, DRAIVER saves companies time, money, and resources by continually optimizing routes and drivers.

“We've been told our company has changed lives, and it was all done with the technology we built on the Salesforce Platform, so I'm excited to share our full story on the big stage at Dreamforce,” says Zarif Haque, CEO of DRAIVER.

Meet Radius8

“I realized one-day shopping with my family in downtown Princeton that there was a fundamental disconnect between customers and stores. While the customer's eyes focused on their phones as they walked around town, they were completely unaware of the great products for sale around the corner and the great people who worked in those stores that could help them find things they would love,” says CEO & co-Founder of Radius8, Sandeep Bhanote.

And that's how Radius8 started. Physical stores are struggling more than ever to stay relevant as they are facing competition from online retailers like Amazon. Radius8 helps give physical stores a digital voice. Their localization platform enables retailers to sell more to consumers by creating store-centric online experiences, and in-store experiences based on local digital demand.

“We can't wait to share our company and our passion with the judges and the audience. This is an unbelievable opportunity for us to share our vision with Salesforce and the world,” says Jenna Flateman Posner, CRO of Radius8.

Meet CarServ

CarServ is the operating system for the automotive repair industry, powered by machine learning. When CarServ's CEO Mars Mundy's car broke down and he had an awful experience getting it fixed, he knew there had to be a better way.

Built on Heroku, CarServ's solution helps auto repair facilities increase revenue and profitability while providing a high-quality experience for customers; all based on better data and insight around the repair process. With CarServ, repair facilities can utilize mobile devices to make their workflow and customer engagement more efficient.

“$250,000 goes a long way for any early stage startup, so I'm so excited for all of this and to pitch on stage at Dreamforce,” says Mars Mundy, CEO of CarServ.
