At Salesforce, we believe it's our role to make the world a better place. We bring this core principle to everything we do. Dreamforce is no exception. This year, we’re excited to give attendees a way to do just that (and more!) through our Future Ready and community engagement programs. Here’s a sneak peek of how we’re bring giving back to life at Dreamforce ‘18!
Over 250 local middle school students will be onsite to learn valuable coding skills and participate in an interactive maker space with workshops focused on the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). On Thursday, September 27, Dreamforce attendees will be able to experience the Sustainable Cities of the Future Makers Faire, featuring innovative student designs. Be sure to stop on by and vote for your favorite Sustainable City.
400 young adults from Bay Area workforce development partners will join our Future Executive Summit beginning on Thursday, September 27. This two-day event will provide inspiring young adults with a unique Dreamforce experience. The goal: to help them grow their professional networks and build the necessary skills for being competitive in today’s job market. All Dreamforce attendees will have the opportunity to sign up in agenda builder to participate in an interactive speed networking session with these future leaders. We are committed to supporting our local community in the fight to end homelessness — and we will be giving Dreamforce attendees a number of ways to help us accomplish this:
In the Dreamforest, come see the stories of people in our community who have experienced homelessness but now fortunately have a place to call home.
In Salesforce.org Lodge, help us fill holiday gift bags that will be delivered to children of over 100 local families in need.
Participate in Dreamforce Quest to help us achieve our ambitious goal of raising $1 million to help end homelessness in our community.
What if citizen philanthropists were everywhere? What if companies hired based on potential, not credentials? What if technology was the solution to the refugee crisis? Our Salesforce.org Idea Forum will give attendees the opportunity to learn from industry experts as they navigate these challenging conversations.
Every year at Dreamforce, we've made a major announcement about how Salesforce will continue to support and give back to our community. This year is no different. Stay tuned for some exciting news being shared this year at Dreamforce about major grants to local nonprofits!
Coming to Dreamforce? Make sure you don’t miss out on these exciting ways you can give back!
