To spread the energy of Startup Valley beyond the show, we’ve captured a ton of startup stories to turn them into 25 short but inspiring soundtracks. Fun fact: A 19’ Airstream Bambi was our podcast studio.

Fuel Social Change

Salesforce believes that businesses can be powerful platforms for change and that’s why, in October, we’ve announced a new $50 million Impact Fund from Salesforce Ventures that will accelerate the growth of companies using Salesforce technology to address challenges across workforce development, equality, sustainability and the social sector.

Financial equality is one step closer. Sallie Krawcheck’s mission is to close the gender investing gap—a serious issue for women that led her to start Ellevest, an investing and financial planning platform for women. Salesforce is also their single source of truth when it comes to tracking their goals and grow the business.

ACME is a commerce platform that supports visitor engagement for the cultural institution space—we’re talking organizations like zoos and museums. It is undoubtedly one of the markets in the nonprofit sector that has been underserved by technology. Moving to a SaaS offer like ACME  helps these institutions focus on their mission, while the platform also provides institutions a better understanding of returning customers and, potentially, turns them into loyal donors. When powerful ACME data gets pushed to Salesforce, magic happens.
