Did you know that this year Veterans Day is the Saturday after Dreamforce? November 11th is a day to honor the men and women that have served our country and we're thrilled to kick off the festivities at Dreamforce. Here's a sneak peek at what we have in store:

  • Over 100 Vetforce members attending to learn, network, and celebrate.
  • Dreamtalk with Lisa Jaster, one of only three women to graduate from the first integrated United States Army Ranger program—one of the most difficult combat training courses in the world.
  • A booth in the expo lodge where you can talk to the Vetforce team and a look inside the learning community
  • The release of the first Military-talent focused Trailhead module
  • The largest gathering of the military community at DF17 hosted by the Vetforce Ohana group

Salesforce knows that military veterans make great employees and we're committed to supporting military talent through two pillars.

#1 Building a strong military community amongst the Salesforce Ohana. We do this through our employee resource group and the involvement of our amazing employees in 12 offices throughout the US, UK, and Australia

#2 Teaching current service members, military veterans, and their spouses Salesforce skills. Our goal is to train, certify, and employ our Vetforce Trailblazers and connect them to jobs with our customers and partners in the Salesforce ecosystem. Existing military skills combined with Salesforce certification can qualify a veteran for a job with a starting salary of 70k.

You don't have to wait until November to get involved. Whether you're a military veteran, spouse, or employer of Salesforce talent you can go to veterans.force.com to learn more and sign up to join our community.
