By downloading and installing a few useful apps you can plan your time at Dreamforce, navigate San Francisco, and stay in touch with what’s going on at home. We recommend that you download these apps before you arrive for the world’s largest software conference.
Salesforce Events App: This is your go-to guide for Dreamforce. This year, you can expect some awesome new aspects, like Quest and Einstein.
TripIt, Kayak, Google Trips, or other travel managers: While the Salesforce Events app has you covered at Dreamforce, seasoned travelers rely on a travel app to organize all their travel plans in one place. It’s like having a personal travel agent in your pocket.
Google Maps or another map tool: Time is of the essence at Dreamforce — we pack a lot into four days. Always be aware of how long it’ll take to walk to another location in San Francisco or drive back to the airport by using a reliable mapping tool.
Uber, Lyft, or other ridesharing services: Dreamforce offers shuttles around the campus area and to nearby hotels, but you may also need a ridesharing service to get to the airport, parties, or personal meetings. San Francisco drivers will be happy to give you a ride the week of Dreamforce.
Concur or Expensify: During Dreamforce, you might be dining with customers and using rideshare services to get around. Take the hassle out of expense reporting by using an app to photograph receipts, manage expenses, and submit reports for approval all in one place.
Quip: Mind-blowing insights are par for the course at Dreamforce. Make sure you have a way to quickly take notes during sessions so you can act on what you learned when you return to the office. Beyond just note-taking, Quip lets you easily create, share, edit, and discuss documents among your team.
Android Pay, Apple Pay, or Venmo: Going cashless does have its advantages: it’s fast and simpler than using a physical card. While we’re not about to abandon cash and cards just yet, digital wallets can help you split dinner bills, make purchases, and reimburse a colleague instantly.
Yelp, OpenTable, GrubHub, Door Dash, and other food apps: You’ll be spoiled for food choices in San Francisco. Handy apps like Yelp and OpenTable can help you select and reserve a table at local restaurants, while delivery apps like GrubHub and Door Dash are handy for the nights when you just want to chill in your hotel room after a full day of sessions.
BONUS: Dreamoji! Sometimes, at Dreamforce, there are no words. Dreamoji is the best way to express yourself with your favorite Salesforce characters.
