This year, Dreamforce is all about learning, so it’s only fitting that more than 1,000 higher education attendees from across the world will be joining us in San Francisco, November 6-9. It’s sure to be a week of innovation, education, connection, and of course fun! If you’re one of our awesome higher ed customers, attending Dreamforce is an amazing way to get inspired about how technology can propel your institution’s success and ultimately your students’ success.
Not only will you have a unique opportunity to dive into what’s new with each Cloud, but you can hear about all the technology innovations coming from Salesforce. Learn what different industries are doing with Salesforce products and check out the latest with AI and the Internet of Things, which have such exciting applications for higher ed.
Find Your Space
In the Salesforce.org Outfitters, the gathering place for all nonprofit and education attendees, you can immerse yourself in higher ed sessions and experiences just for you. The Outfitters is in the Westin St Francis Hotel - the same great space as last year.
Kick Your Week Off Strong
We’ll start the week with a keynote from Salesforce.org CEO, Rob Acker that’s sure to inspire and highlight how our community of customers are driving real transformation within their organizations. You also won’t want to miss the Higher Ed Kickoff to see how customers like Michigan State are reimagining admissions using Communities and how the University of San Diego is promoting greater student engagement with mobile apps and IoT. And we’ll share some exciting announcements about Salesforce Advisor Link that can’t be missed!
Learn and Engage
When it comes to sessions, there’s really something for everyone. Hear from higher ed customers, the Salesforce.org product team, partners, and more. You’ll have so many opportunities to learn about solution developments across the entire student lifecycle and engage with your peers around best practices. In addition to exciting technology sessions, this year we’ve added an amazing thought leadership program throughout the week. Hot topics like transformation in education, workforce development, the Intelligence Revolution, and equality will all be discussed on the Salesforce.org Outfitters’ main stage.
Find Customer Success
No week at Dreamforce would be complete without spending some time in the expo space as well. Talk with partners across our growing ecosystem and schedule one-on-one appointments with the Salesforce.org Customer Success team. Trailhead will have a big presence across campus, but there will be a special Higher Ed Trail Mix to check out. Of course, there will be chances to earn some swag and network with other community members.
Don't Forget Fun
Lastly, Dreamforce is a time for fun. The concert benefiting UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals happens Tuesday night and the Salesforce.org reception will take place Wednesday evening. There are also plenty of opportunities throughout the week to kick back on the Dreampark, take a selfie with Astro and connect with the broader Ohana. And don’t forget to make time to give back! We’ll have some exciting volunteer opportunities lead by the Girl Scouts of the USA.
