The Big Apple welcomed the Salesforce World Tour yesterday, and was packed with powerful customer stories, amazing product launches and inspirational leadership discussions. We had fun, gave back, and drank some awesome lemonade...let me explain.

1. Become A Trailblazer

We joined Salesforce President, Legal and General Counsel, Amy Weaver, and Chief Equality Officer, Tony Prophet for our NYC Salesforce World Tour keynote, "Become A Trailblazer." Check it out on demand for updates to our corporate vision, exciting new announcements, and special guests.

2. Girl Scouts

Salesforce.org supported the Girl Scouts of the USA in NYC. The Girl Scouts of the USA builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. The Girl Scout troop presented at World Tour NYC used the 'Build a Lemonade Stand App' workshop on Salesforce's Trailhead platform to develop STEM skills and learn the basics of entrepreneurship. They used the app they built to track inventory as they distributed refreshing lemonade. The best part? For every cup of lemonade distributed, Salesforce.org donated $1 to the Girl Scouts of the USA. Want to join the fun? You can give from anywhere by texting InvestInGirls to 41444.

3. FinServ

The financial services industry faces a loyalty crisis, with only 55% of customers saying they are likely to stay with their bank for the next six months. Convenience is the new loyalty and pioneering firms are using a new technology, artificial intelligence (AI), to create differentiated, convenient experiences. In an era of changing customer preferences, increased competition, and a tsunami of regulatory change, now is the time for financial services firms to compete using intelligence-driven strategies to power customer journeys, self-service communities, and compliance processes.
