Commerce Cloud has been named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Commerce – for the second consecutive year!

In its report, Gartner noted Salesforce’s ability to execute and its completeness of vision. According to Gartner, Leaders in its Magic Quadrant “demonstrate the ability to provide a depth and breadth of commerce functionality; to deliver commerce capabilities across multiple industries and business models; to deliver commerce platforms that can scale to support large transaction volumes and high levels of digital commerce GMV revenue, to provide sales and support services both directly and through an ecosystem of application, services and integration partners, and to deliver additional application functionality that integrates with their core commerce platform.”

Indeed, Salesforce Commerce Cloud is consistently adding new commerce functionality to help our customers connect with their customers in a whole new way. For example, our support of Apple Pay means retailers can streamline mobile shopping and increase conversion. At the same time, our multi-tenant cloud platform means that customers including PUMA, Cotton On, and Labelux can launch new global sites with lightning speed, and implement new capabilities as they become available.

You can see the power of Salesforce’s continuous innovation in a recent customer review we received on Gartner’s Peer Insights. Writing about what he likes most about Commerce Cloud, this customer says, “it’s everything else that [Commerce Cloud] offers built on top of the 6-8 product and feature updates per year that makes the product stand out. The innovation and advanced analytic capabilities which are being built into the product will help retailers accelerate their growth.”

According to Gartner, Leaders also have “financial, technical and organizational viability, and they appear consistently on client evaluations of digital commerce vendors. In addition, they often set the competitive benchmark against which other vendors compare themselves.”

We’ve got a lot of exciting enhancements planned for Commerce Cloud this year, including deeper AI-based insights powered by Salesforce Einstein, which we’ll go into in greater detail at our upcoming XChange conference in May.

As a key component of the Salesforce Intelligent Customer Success Platform, we are laser-focused on helping our customers become truly customer-centric. Why? Because in a world where every touchpoint is connected and intelligent, customers expect nothing less, and because we are dedicated to empowering our customers create relevant, 1:1 experiences for shoppers.

This is the second independent analysis in as many months to name Commerce Cloud as a Leader in digital commerce. We are thrilled to once again be recognized by Gartner as a Leader in its Magic Quadrant for Digital Commerce. As our customer reviewer wrote, on Gartner’s Peer Insights, “I wanted an honest dialogue, straight-forward approach on how to be successful with [Commerce Cloud]. I didn’t want to be “sold” something, I want partners who would be invested in my business.”

To be sure, we are laser-focused on being partners with our customers in their growth, and will continue innovating to help them connect with their customers in a whole new way.
