If you’ve been to Dreamforce at least once, you know that giving back is the beating heart behind it all. When Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff started Salesforce 17 years ago, he was inspired to integrate philanthropy into his business. Salesforce.org, a nonprofit social enterprise born out of Salesforce, has a big mission based on a simple concept. The goal is to empower our community of stakeholders to accelerate impact by leveraging Salesforce’s technology, resources, and people.

Salesforce brings this to life at Dreamforce. Learn how here:

Nonprofits and Higher Ed at Dreamforce

We all know that Dreamforce is huge, but did you know that it’s also the largest Nonprofit Technology Conference in the world? This year, more than 8,000 will register, representing nonprofit organizations, education institutions, and grant-making foundations across the US and 20 other countries.

This year, the homebase for nonprofits and higher ed at Dreamforce is the Salesforce.org Lodge, located at the Westin St. Francis. There will be nonstop action happening in and around the Lodge throughout the conference: inspiring speakers in the Power of Us Theater, community meetups, and of course, the chance to win some amazing swag! It’ll be open From Tuesday, October 4th through Thursday, October 6th from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Friday, October 7th from 8:00am to 2:00pm.

Want details on content made just for you? Check out the Trailblazer’s Guidebook - your first look at the sessions, breakouts, and panels for nonprofits and higher ed. We just published it today, so you can be among the first to get your DF16 game plan together! NOTE: Session titles and topics in this first version are subject to change before Dreamforce, but we hope it’ll give you a good idea of which sessions to sign up for in the Dreamforce Agenda Builder.

Give Big with (RED)

Amazing things happen when we open our hearts and work together to help others. Last year, Dreamforce attendees donated more than one million books to schools and libraries around the world for children in need.

This year, we’re joining forces with (RED), an organization started by Bono and Bobby Shriver with the mission of creating awareness and raising funds to deliver the first AIDS-free generation. Learn more here (Link to (RED) blog)

Our goal is to raise one million dollars to further the fight against AIDS, and at Dreamforce, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to help. We have amazing speakers, must-have merchandise, photo ops, and hands-on volunteer activities planned throughout Dreamforce to help you get involved and support (RED). More information and link to donate here!

Rock out for children’s health.

On October 5, join us at The Concert for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals, featuring U2 and held in conjunction with Dreamfest. Help us support breakthroughs in children’s health through this extraordinary benefit concert. You definitely won’t want to miss the exclusive cocktail reception, reserved concert viewing areas, or after-party with MC Hammer and will.i.am spinning at the Cloud Palace.
