It hasn’t gone unnoticed the ways in which small businesses — from mom-and-pop shops to designers of problem-solving apps —have been shaping the world. Simply put: Small businesses are anything but small.

We at Salesforce know this, which is why we’d really like to help smart small businesses bring their big ideas to fruition. So we decided this year to launch an annual Small Business Contest, a cutting-edge competition aimed to advance some of the most innovative and inspiring business solutions.

Now is your chance to score more than $50,000 worth of prizes.

Here’s how it works: You will be asked to fill out a questionnaire and give us your “elevator pitch,” explaining clearly how your business solution is solving a problem or making a change that you believe matters. There are no boundaries here — each business is allowed to define what that change is and its value to society, whether it’s a new piece of technology or an education program.

After evaluating all the submissions, 10 small businesses will be flown out to our Dreamforce event where they’ll compete for the grand prize. In front of a live audience, five semi-finalists will be asked to pitch how their business solution is driving change to a group of celebrity judges and industry insiders. The winner will walk away with $25,000 in Salesforce products, an Apple Watch, a trip to our Dreamforce event, and appear in our small business marketing campaign.

“Small businesses have always been a powerful engine for growth, both in the U.S. and around the world,” said Tricia Gellman, VP, Demand Generation. “At Salesforce, we’re keenly aware of the critical role startups and small businesses play in driving innovation, boosting employment, and defining future markets. I am constantly amazed by the innovation of our small business customers and partners. With this contest, we hope to inspire a breadth of businesses to share their successes to win visibility and prizes but also to inspire others.”

We can’t wait to see all the game-changing ideas you have to bring us!
