We’re thrilled to bring Salesforce for Startups to Boston this week!
Launched just six months ago, Salesforce for Startups is a program designed to provide early-stage tech startups with the Salesforce technology, business tools and expertise they need to become thriving, customer-focused companies. Open to all, we offer a community environment to inspire high-growth regardless of your stage in the startup journey.
What are the core elements of Salesforce for Startups?
Build: Startups gain access to the Salesforce1 Platform, enabling them to quickly build any kind of app at scale.
Grow: Startups gain access to content and tools to delight customers and ignite growth.
Give Back: Startups are enabled to integrate philanthropy into the fabric of their companies from the very start.
Giving back is a major part of Salesforce’s mission, and also a key component of Salesforce for Startups. When tech startups agree to Pledge 1%, they pledge to adopt all or part of the Salesforce 1-1-1 model—giving 1% of product, equity and/or time toward the communities where they live and work.
Of course, Boston is renowned for its innovative startup community, so we’re excited to share our program and mission here. Last night, the Salesforce for Startups team held a meetup at West Bridge in Cambridge with more than 30 high-growth companies. We’re excited to report that six tech startups active in the Boston-area agreed to Pledge 1% and give back to their communities: Content Raven, General Assembly, Leaseworks, PresentiGO, RockTech and Yesware.
