Spring has sprung! Well, the Spring '15 release has anyway.
As we wind down the flurry of activities surrounding the Salesforce Spring ‘15 release, it’s time to take a breather and celebrate the record breaking amount of customer driven innovation delivered in it. That's no exaggeration — this is our biggest Ideas release in the history of the IdeaExchange!
For those of you not familiar, the IdeaExchange is where members of our community go to create and/or vote on the product enhancements they deem important. If you haven't already, check it out and let us know what enhancements are important to you!
In total, we touched 135 customer Ideas and over 382,000 Idea points in the Spring 15 release. 8 Ideas exceeded 10,000 vote points each, and 3 belong to our Top 20 of all time list (by points). With the Spring '15 release we can proudly say we've delivered over 60% of your Top 20 Ideas!
We delivered a total of 89 GA Ideas and over 222,000 GA Idea points this release. The new Process Builder snagged 37 Ideas and over 95k points by itself, and a series of Outlook Side Panel/Microsoft Integration enhancements account for 23 Ideas and over 44k points. Rounding out the top 3 is Dupe Alerts, a singular Idea with a whopping 67k points (making it also our #2 Idea of all time). Click here to see a full list of GA Ideas.
Sometimes an Idea can have one or more enhancement requests wrapped into it, touch multiple products or take more than one release to fully deliver (for example, delivering a feature for mobile first and then web). When we deliver part of an Idea (vs. the whole Idea), we give it a status of “Partially Delivered." In Spring ‘15 we 3 Ideas and nearly 39k Idea points partially delivered. Click here to see a full list of Partially Delivered Ideas.
In total, we have 43 new Ideas and nearly 121k points in Pilot/Beta status for Spring 15. A handful of enhancements to the Notes experience are in Beta, including the Notes portion of the Idea Reporting on Notes & Attachments (20k points). Click here to see a full list of Pilot/Beta Ideas.
Kudos to community members David DeSana and David Enser for having your Ideas "Cross Object Workflow" and "Ability to Create Custom Lookup Fields on the Activity Object" make the Top 3 biggest Ideas delivered in Spring 15
