While the phrase “work hard, play hard” is often overused, there is no better way to sum up the mentality that permeates Dreamforce each year. While the four days of Dreamforce are loaded with workshops, breakout sessions, and networking events, the nights are equally packed with concerts and parties to attend.
Each year, Salesforce and its partners throw dozens of parties throughout the city during Dreamforce. Each party has its own unique location and theme, and some even have an exclusive criteria for their attendees. So how do you master this diverse party scene?
Before you hit the party scene, you have to do your research. You need a full list of parties, locations, and times to start planning your after-hours schedule. While party lists, maps, and schedules permeate the internet in the weeks leading up to Dreamforce, one of the best tools is the official Partyforce app.
With a full list of parties, an agenda builder, and the ability to RSVP directly from the app, Partyforce has everything you need to jump start your party planning process.
When we polled the Dreamforce commuunity for their best piece of advice on the Dreamforce party scene, over 61% of Dreamforce veterans suggested you RSVP for the parties you're interested in. While some parties have flexible admission, other parties fill up fast and may only admit attendees who RSVP in advance.
When you RSVP in advance, you don’t have to worry about getting turned away at the door and having to change your plans. So be sure to look for a registration page for the parties you are looking to attend. Some parties will require you to RSVP with some basic information while others are open to anyone with a dreamforce badge.
Veterans also encourage attendees to arrive early. With nearly 100,000 attendees descending onto San Francisco during Dreamforce, the event spaces for Dreamforce parties can get crowded as the night progresses. Arriving early not only assures you’ll get into the party of your choice, but also means you’ll have an easier time getting to the bar, finding a place to sit, and scoping out the area.
