Dreamforce is for developers, salespeople, admins, marketers, and many more, but who would have guessed it was also for music fans?  This year’s, Dreamforce is going to rock, with four days of music.

After the huge success of the past two years of the Dreamforce Music Festival, we are continuing to provide awesome musical entertainment during the conference.  The Dreamforce Plaza on Howard Street will have outstanding live music on two separate stages – The 4th Street Accenture Stage and the 3rd Street Dreamforce Stage. We are so excited to announce the addition of amazing artists and bands to the Dreamforce 2014 lineup.

Schedule:

Monday, Oct. 13

10am-12pm: Strong Like Bull

Strong Like Bull returns for the second year to the Dreamforce Festival and brings your favorite rock, pop and hipster tunes. Rated San Francisco’s #2 cover band, their eclectic repertoire includes Journey, The Killers, Kings of Leon, MGMT, Foo Fighters, The Strokes, Franz Ferdinand, Guns N’ Roses, Silversun Pickups, Velvet Revolver, Rage Against the Machine, Radiohead, Bon Jovi—and, of course, Neil Diamond.

 12pm-2pm: Brass Magic

This eight-piece ensemble features a robust horn section that hugs the listener and drums that drive like a Harley Davidson. Founded by musicians from Berkeley, California, Brass Magic developed and honed their sound in the clubs and parks of New York City. Influenced by the garbage of Manhattan, the F train, and strong beverages, the band focuses on original compositions and synthesizes styles from around the world into a new sound.

6pm-8pm: The Amazing Embarrassonic Human Karaoke Machine

The Amazing Embarrassonic Human Karaoke Machine is an interactive rockstar fantasy experience that allows you to front a real, live, 3-piece rock band.  They’ve got guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, a stage and a repertoire of over 500 songs, but without you they are nothing but a crappy jazz/fusion instrumental headache. Pick a song you’re familiar with and sign up to sing.

Tuesday, Oct. 14

10:30am-12:30pm: Pop Fiction

Pop Fiction is an 8-piece "party band extraordinaire" featuring unmatched talent, versatility, energy, style, and polish—both musically and visually. From the minute they hit the stage, Pop Fiction churns out non-stop dance hits, sing-alongs, and favorites from the '70s, '80s, '90s, and 2000s, guaranteed to keep the dance floor packed and audiences of all ages ecstatic all night. The eight performers, dressed to impress, deliver high-energy performances with fantastic choreography, audience participation, and pure unadulterated fun throughout the night!

With their sticky and whimsical tunes about wasting time and living too lazy for love, The Limousines can't wait to dance with you while you sing along with songs about anything and everything, from desperate meetings with psychiatrists to self-gratifying internet voyeurism and all the trappings of this fast-paced modern life.

5pm-6:30pm: Jeffrey Halford & The Healers

San Francisco singer/songwriter/guitarist Jeffrey Whitmore Halford has been touring the country with his band, the Healers, for the past 15 years. They’ve played shows with some of the most acclaimed artists and songwriters, including Taj Mahal, Los Lobos, Etta James, and Chuck Prophet, among others. His original roots rock ‘n roll songs etch a uniquely American, and specifically California, landscape.

Gala Info

But the moment that we have all been waiting for happens on Tuesday evening when attendees ascend upon San Francisco’s Civic Center and the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium to experience an all-star musical lineup including Bruno Mars and Cake.

Key Tips for the Dreamforce Gala:

TIP 1: Don’t forget your conference badge — this is your ticket to the event! Full conference credentials (card, holder and all) are required for entry.

TIP 2: Bring your ID. California law requires that bartenders check your ID if you are fortunate to look under 30.

TIP 3: Leave your laptop and backpack at home! Attendees are strongly encouraged to return to their hotels to drop off valuables prior to boarding the Gala shuttles. We are expecting a large turnout and will have limited coat check service available onsite.

TIP 4: The Bruno Mars concert takes place outdoors in Civic Center Plaza. Average nightly temperatures can range from 50-60 degrees. Be sure to bring layers as the fog can roll in, making for a cool San Francisco evening! If you forget your jacket, we will have an official Dreamforce Gala store onsite.

TIP 5: Shuttle service will be provided to the Gala from all official Dreamforce hotels starting at 6:15pm.  Doors open at 6:30pm and stay open until we are done rocking at 10:00pm. Don’t want to take the shuttle? Public transportation is an easy way to get to Civic Center Plaza. Take Muni or BART to the Civic Center Plaza station and head towards the Grove Street exit.

TIP 6: If you have an Expo+ Pass and want to attend the concert, please visit www.theconcertforkids.com to see how you can purchase a ticket while supporting a great cause. These tickets include an after-party in City Hall from 10pm until midnight with will.i.am and MC Hammer!
