The Sales Surfboard Awards are a celebration of our customers’ achievements, recognizing the most inspiring sales success stories of the year — and this year’s stories are more impressive than ever. When we brought the awards back for a second year, we knew we had to make them even bigger and better than last year.
We asked our customers to tell us how they use Sales Cloud, Data.com, Pardot, and Work.com in new and different ways. We had so many deserving entries in 2013 that we added six more categories to this year’s awards. The 24 winning companies are record breakers, creative thinkers, and game changers who have demonstrated outstanding sales and marketing success.
So, why surfboards? Marc Benioff, CEO of salesforce.com, holds Hawaii and its culture close to his heart. Our employees receive commemorative surfboards on their milestone anniversaries with the company, and we wanted to share this special part of our culture with our customers. We know that we wouldn’t be here without them, so these awards are a small token of our appreciation.
