Every year at Dreamforce, the DevZone kicks into high gear for developers and adminstrators to get hands on with the Salesforce1 Platform.

One of the highlights is the Developer Keynote, scheduled this time around for 10:30am on Wednesday, Oct. 15.

For the past two years, this session has been filled to capacity with lines of attendees eager to get a first hand look at the cool new features of platform and to see awesome demos.

In actuality, we don’t do demos during the Developer Keynote — we build apps in real-time. That’s the power of the Salesforce1 Platform.

This year, we are cranking everything up to 11 (yes, that’s a spinal tap reference, and I do in fact own an amp that goes to 11). We are going bigger with an all-new 4,000-person mega-room in right above the DevZone Moscone West, four app builds, three amazing speakers, and some awesome news to share with the community.

One of the big questions I get asked every year is, Who should attend the Developer Keynote? Is it just for hardcore devs? What about admins, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and ExactTarget Marketing Cloud users?

The answer is simple: The Developer Keynote is for anyone who wants to create new apps, or extend and customize their existing Salesforce implementation. We’ve designed the keynote to really highlight the power of the platform, and how everyone can create apps no matter what their background, or skill set is.

This year, the keynote answers the following four questions, which are critical to anyone looking to innovate:

1. What type of apps should I build?

2. How do I extend and streamline existing apps and processes?

3. How do I build apps even faster?

4. What is the future of apps?

Are you interested in finding out how the Salesforce1 Platform, and the Developer Keynote can help you answer these questions? Then the Developer Keynote is for you.

Don’t forget, Dreamforce is only a few weeks away. Even though the developer keynote is in a bigger room this year, space is filling incredibly fast. Don’t miss out. Reserve yours now.

And if you haven't already registered for the full conference, it's as easy as clicking the button.
