So we’re over the worst of January and looking forward to the Spring '14 release. By now you’ve read the 320 pages of release notes (well done!) or gone straight to our Release Readiness Community to see what features our customers are looking forward to most.
As a former customer myself, I’m most looking forward to checking out Orders and all the enhancements around Analytics. Most of these are all great usability enhancements – flexible sorting in reports, anyone? Many of them (floating headers, editing dashboards without needig View All Data) are ones that were suggested by you on the IdeaExchange.
Around the Community, our MVPs have posted their favorite features. You can read their blog posts in the Release Readiness group. What would be your top five? Here are a few.
Highlight announcements to ensure that your group members see important information.
Choose the forecast that’s right for you – now you can view your forecast based on revenue, quantity, product family and more. Your choice.
Help your teams find what they need quickly with topics. No more custom “tagging".
The first mobile app that lets Salesforce administrators manage their users from anywhere. Set passwords remotely and instantly freeze or deactivate users from any device.
This is a nice productivity gain. You can rapidly assign or remove permission sets for groups of users without the need to select each individually or make any changes to profiles.
Reading about the release is good, but wouldn't it be even better to see the new features live? And wouldn't it be better still to see them demonstrated by the people who built them, and to get a chance to ask your questions directly to those people? Well, that's exactly what we're bringing to you with Release Readiness Live, a Spring '14 broadcast that'll be streamed to our entire customer base as a state of the nation address for the new release.
We’ll have our product management team for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Collaboration Cloud and Salesforce1 Mobile, live in the studio discussing and demonstrating release features so you get a chance to see how it all works in real time. Hopefully you’ll find some great new ways to improve productivity for your users.
We’ve got a full day on Wednesday the 12th of February starting with Salesforce1 Mobile followed by Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and Collaboration Cloud. Join live to get your questions answered by our product experts. To register and see the full agenda, click here.
If that date doesn’t work for you or you need to hear the details again, we’ll be recording the whole broadcast and making it available in bite-sized chunks so you can focus on the features that mean the most to you.
And remember, both before and after the live broadcast, our Release Readiness Group on the Success Community is your one stop shop for key updates, relevant content and insights from other customers about what they’re planning to implement and how.
