It all started with the luckiest Google search of my life. I was tasked with finding a CRM to replace our homegrown system and found a phone number to a very young company called Salesforce.com.

From there I have been able to work in small private companies all the way to public Fortune 100 organizations. I have been fortunate enough to travel the world, and gained many memorable experiences along the way.

Salesforce is about being ‘customer centric’ and that is traditionally thought of as paying customers who use their software. But my experience has turned tradition on its side. I have made a career of helping companies recognize how to optimize their sales and marketing practices and have been rewarded by leading the Houston User Group Community. It has allowed me to be ‘industry independent’ because Salesforce.com is not restricted to a company persona, geography, or industry vertical. It is just a great company empowering other businesses/individuals to make the most out of every opportunity.

Lastly, salesforce.com is a community. I’ve had the ability to take pride in being part of an extended family. I got to start a HUG Gives Back Program that helps nonprofits with any assistance they may need with their Salesforce.com instance. I have met people from different backgrounds and have the feeling that no matter where the road might take me, there will always be someone in the world who I can relate to and reach out to.
