This year, ramping up for breakout sessions involves many new, helpful features. While registration goes live in October, you can get a head start by bookmarking sessions in the Dreamforce App. Once you register for a session in agenda builder, you'll automatically follow the session on Dreamforce Chatter to enable you to get all new updates on the session. This pre-session community will ultimately create additional conversations about the session to come, and increase session leads' ability to ensure the presentation covers questions and concerns voiced in the Chatter group. Also, session decks will be posted in the Chatter groups prior to the show to help registrants properly prepare.
As the conference grows, so do the amount of breakout sessions available for attendees. We are adding the same amount of sessions from 2012 to 2013. We'll also be optimizing the attendee experience by repeating 30% of all sessions, staggering the start times and having role and cloud-based location planning, so attendees can move easily from session to session without stress.
Hands-On-Training sessions are hands down the most popular sessions at Dreamforce. Make sure that you are ready to register for these sessions as soon as the agenda builder goes live. But to ensure that more attendees will be able to participate in HOTS, the amount of sessions will be increasing to a total of 109 hours, with additional rooms.
After the success of 40 and 90-minute sessions during our Customer Company Tour, we have added these new formats to the Dreamforce catalog. Along with these new formats, we will be adding additional 30-minute sessions to allow attendees to learn a great variety of info on a larger amount of topics.
As is always true, the Dreamforce community and conversation does not end once the conference is over. This stands true in regards to the breakout sessions as well. All sessions will be audio recorded, and will have audio and presentations synced and online within a week after the session is completed. They will be available at www.youtube.com/dreamforce.
Utilizing attendee input and the current industry conditions, we have added numerous new tracks including Emerging Trends, Gamification, Open Innovation, Open Sourcing, Company Transformation, and many more additional industry sessions. Keep checking back on the session’s page on www.dreamforce.com for additional information.
