I’m excited to share with you this morning the new innovations we announced at Dreamforce that we believe will transform how companies sell in the social and mobile era. Here’s a brief rundown of the Sales Cloud news:

Salesforce Touch Will Bring Salesforce to Mobile Devices 
The unveiling of Salesforce Touch, powered by HTML5, will bring Salesforce to any mobile device, regardless of platform, and empower reps to collaborate on deals anytime, anywhere.
 
Salesforce Touch will make your sales reps hyper-productive. They will now be able to take advantage of even the smallest periods of downtime and use Touch on their tablets to quickly log follow up action items after a meeting, uncover information to prepare for an important presentation, or get an approval needed to move a deal forward. This will allow your salespeople to spend more time connecting with customers and selling, and less time entering and accessing data. Why is this important? So they can close more deals.
 
Chatter Communities for Partners Will Enable Collaboration with Customers, Employees and Partners to Drive Sales
New Chatter Communities for Partners will be built on the Chatter Communities platform and leverage the trusted security and sharing model of Salesforce. The new product will enable companies to easily create multiple private, branded communities with their partners, suppliers, and distributors. This in turn will drive more sales through seamless deal registration, access to proven sales tools and collaboration with the right experts.

Data.com Social Key Will Harness Social Media Data to Close Deals Faster
Since its inception, Data.com has helped businesses by providing them with customer contact information. Now, Data.com is introducing Social Key -- which will harness public social data like tweets and recent news and link it with traditional data like employer info or a phone number. This will help enterprises obtain the prized data necessary to grow their business with one click within the Sales Cloud.
