This September a group of salesforce.com employees took time away from work to volunteer at Family House in San Francisco. The group organized a carnival for the seriously ill kids at the house and spent time playing games and getting to know the children. See the photo essay below for the full story about salesforce.com volunteers in action:

A core part of salesforce.com's culture is disseminating the organization's financial, technological and intellectual wealth to those in our communities who need it most. This has been the company's commitment ever since it was just a start-up and to date we donate 1% of our time, 1% of our product and 1% of equity to this cause. This equals to 265,681 hours of volunteer work, 11,525 organizations using donated Salesforce licenses and $24,270,401 awarded to enable positive social change.
