We love mobile apps, but tracking down truly useful mobile business apps takes real work. The best approach?  Ask your coworkers what they’re using.  Sure, it annoys them, but it saves you from sifting through a bunch of loser apps to find a great one.  Besides, you can learn a lot about your colleagues by what apps they use. (Although sometimes, you learn more than you wanted!)

We asked around our office and arrived at five favorites:
Evernote
The simplest solution is often the best, and Evernote nails that concept with their mobile app. Evernote makes it easy to record and organize notes, photos, and voice reminders in one place, whenever inspiration strikes.  All of your notes are stored in the cloud and accessible from any device.
Tip: See something interesting that you want to remember later? Snap a photo and add a quick note.
TripIt
If you travel, you need TripIt.  Simply forward your confirmation emails for airline tickets, hotels, rental cars, and more. TripIt will parse key information like travel times and confirmation numbers into one, neatly organized mobile app.
Tip:  Need to print a boarding pass at the airport kiosk? Open TripIt on your device for fast access to your confirmation number.
