Salesforce has one of the most powerful partner ecosystems in the industry - built on innovation, collaboration and an unwavering commitment to customer success. We’re excited to see our partners at Dreamforce 2017 - the learning event of the year - and an incredible opportunity to gain insights and inspiration from the world’s foremost visionaries and industry experts.
We want our partners to get the very most out of Dreamforce so we’re sharing some partner-specific tips and tricks, and highlighting a few things partners won’t want to miss.
We’re having two keynotes this year - one focusing on our AppExchange Partners and the other tailored to Consulting Partners. Both keynotes take place Monday, November 6 so block your calendars from 9 a.m. to noon Pacific. Leyla Seka EVP, AppExchange will deliver the first keynote from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and Tyler Prince, EVP, WW Alliances & GTM Innovation, will deliver the Consulting Partner Keynote from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Consulting keynote will focus on Partners, Industries, Innovation and all the incredible opportunity ahead. We encourage all of our partners to join both keynotes.
Partners are extremely busy at Dreamforce - talking to customers, solving business problems, and connecting with colleagues across the entire ecosystem. That’s why we created Partner Outfitters located at the Park Central Hotel. This is an oasis exclusively for partners. A place to rest, recharge, and learn about the latest program and product innovations. Partners can attend breakouts, get yummy food, watch top Dreamforce keynotes (live feeds) from the luxury of the Partner Theater, and so much more! We’re excited to welcome partners to this area just for them at Dreamforce.
What makes the Salesforce Ecosystem unique is the incredible collaboration between partners. One way we are fostering this community spirit is through Partner Meetups. Now you can connect with partners, colleagues, vendors, Partner MVPs, Partner User Group leaders, Partner Account Managers, and Salesforce experts. This is especially beneficial for new Partners looking to get connected with all the amazing people that make up the Salesforce Partner Ecosystem. Look for these special meetups in Agenda Builder (when it goes live), and schedule time to meet.
We’re also bringing back Braindating as a way for partners to connect. Braindates are about sharing knowledge. This is a unique opportunity for partners to easily find subject matter experts to discuss specific topics. They are one-on-one or group conversations that you book with other participants while you’re at Partner Outfitters. It’s simple to use - partners create a profile sharing your expertise and areas of interest. After that, with the help of smart algorithm, it’s a simple search to find the right person, or people, to meet with and set a “time and date” to make it happen.
The best place to start is the Dreamforce for Partners page on the Partner Community. This page contains many important details and announcements to help partners get ready for Dreamforce. Perhaps the most robust resource for partners is the DF17 Partner Online Guide. This guide is updated regularly and contains the latest information of where to go, what to do, and how to make the most of your Dreamforce experience. We also encourage partners to join the Dreamforce for Partners Chatter Group (login required) and follow us on Twitter - @partnerforce.
These tips are just the beginning. Learn more on the Partner Community Dreamforce for Partners page.
