Here at Salesforce, our content marketing and social media team likes to get a little creative.
The holidays are a perfect opportunity to let the creative juices flow, and this year, we wanted to share our holiday spirit with a little musical flair. After putting their heads together, the team came up with an idea perfectly suited for engaging our social audience: #SalesforceCarols.
The premise was simple: repurposing traditional holiday carols as an opportunity to share useful tips. But we quickly realized we could tap into the power of the Salesforce Success Community, as well as our social community, to generate way more ideas than we'd ever be able to come up with on our own.
"#SalesforceCarols was driven by of our community's passion for Salesforce and excitement for the holidays!" says Tiffany Hsu, Community Manager at Salesforce. "It's great giving our community a way to express their creative ideas, while also sharing good tips and expertise."
It's also a testament to how communities can magnify the impact of a marketing campaign — or really, of any creative process. And, of course, it's just plain fun.
