I was amazed at how salesforce.com allowed someone like me, with no experience in coding, to create complicated and robust business processes. After going through an administrator training class, it really clicked with me. Not only could this great tool be used to make my employees' lives easier, but it would give me (and my company) insight into how we were interacting with our customers, and how they responded to those interactions. This tool was something special and I knew it would change my life.

After setting up salesforce.com for my organization and advocating to anyone who would listen that they should "be in Salesforce" I was promoted to a marketing position where I coordinated our regional sales team's marketing campaigns. Salesforce.com was the tool that assisted us all in communicating new campaigns, tracking the progress, and determining our ROI.

This gave me the experience to look for other opportunities, and I quickly landed a position with a global travel agency services company to setup their call center in salesforce.com. The center was a success, but due to leadership changes and even more opportunities to help people with salesforce.com, I moved on to Mavens Consulting. There, I've worked with both global and mid-sized pharmaceutical companies - helping them get the most out of their investments in the Force.com platform.

I now find myself in Milan, Italy, heading up Mavens' expansion into Europe to better assist customers in this part of the world with using Salesforce.com to fine-tune their processes and gain better insight into their customers. No step in my career path would have been possible had salesforce.com not had the flexibility, power, and breadth that it does as a tremendous business tool.
