Join Marc and Lynne Benioff in Making a Difference in the Lives of Homeless Families

Last January, with support from Marc and Lynne Benioff and the Salesforce.com Foundation, Catholic Charities CYO began providing short-term housing and services to homeless single mothers and their children at a new residential community located on Geary Street in San Francisco called Star Community Home.

Lynne Benioff’s passion for this cause helped to bring together salesforce.com employees, the City of San Francisco, and several nonprofit organizations in a collaboration that helped make a real difference in the lives of hundreds of homeless families.

While originally designed to only be an 18-month project, the success of the Star Community Home over the last year has inspired the Benioff’s to not only support the program through 2014, but to also offer a philanthropic challenge to their friends and colleagues.
