Dreamforce is only 10 weeks away and this year we’ve amped up our focus on emerging and small business strategies.

We know that as a small business it can be difficult to compete against the “big dogs” within your industry. Large enterprises have established brands and more money to throw at IT resources. So how can a small business compete?  The right technology can level the playing field. Cloud computing allows small businesses to use the same services and technologies as large Fortune 500 companies, without the cost and complexity.

Last year, we held a Dreamforce session on the topic of “thinking big,” where we heard from three fast-growing small businesses: Stonehenge, Fireclay Tile and FreeCause. In the session, each customer presented how they transformed their companies using Salesforce.

Stonehenge, a real estate company based in Manhattan, spoke about why they chose Salesforce to help them cultivate leads and increase efficiency across their business.  They used Salesforce as a platform to automate their sales, track lead generation, measure their business and integrate their back office.  After implementation, Stonehenge saw an increase in rental sales and a decrease in third party commission costs.

Fireclay Tile, a ceramic tile manufacturer, shared how they run their entire company on Salesforce.  With the help of Salesforce, Fireclay Tile built a professional website, created automated processes and delivered unprecedented customer service.  The company saw a 400% increase in leads along with a 90% increase in customer satisfaction.  Watch the following video to learn more.

My favorite part of Dreamforce is hearing from our customers and these stories are just a few examples. We plan to have more SMB specific sessions than ever before on this topic and more. Click here to register. See you in September!
