Let’s say you’ve always wanted to get started customizing Salesforce apps, or even building a unique Force.com app, but don’t have much spare time and don’t know how to get started. No more excuses! We’ve got your solution with this fresh new series of hands-on tutorials that’ll get you up to speed in no time.
Head on on over to Developing Cloud Apps — Coding Optional and check out the Recommended Learning Path section for our new Quick Tutorial series. Each hands-on tutorial takes five minutes or less and teaches you a valuable skill for building and customizing apps with Force.com. The sequential series of tutorials is organized into different focus areas: After creating a new app, you then focus on the database, then the user interface, and finally some basic business logic.
Along the way, you’ll get a gentle introduction to many platform features and technologies, including the App Quick Start Wizard, objects and relationships, Schema Builder, the Import Wizard, views, page layouts, and Chatter configuration.
For additional background and context related to the tutorials, there's a new series of articles that start with Understanding Cloud Application Development.
Once you complete the tutorials, make sure to continue your journey into cloud application development by checking out other great resources on the Developing Cloud Apps — Coding Optional page. Bookmark this page and revisit it regularly because we’ll be updating it with new resources that become available.
Have fun learning all of these new skills.
