Attendees at the Oracle OpenWorld conference have an opportunity to help homeless children have sweeter dreams, give kids a great start to the school year, and help care for people with AIDS around the world. How? Just by taking a few minutes between sessions and speeches to stop by the salesforce.com booth in Moscone South.
This year, the entire salesforce.com booth at OpenWorld (#1801) is devoted to volunteerism and the community. Attendees can stop by each day to visit with staff from the Salesforce.com Foundation and our nonprofit partners, and contribute a few minutes to help others. It’s all part of our 1% Model, which challenges each of us to donate 1% of the company's time and resources to social good.
For more background on Salesforce.com's innovative integrated philanthropic model, listen to Marc Benioff, Chairman & CEO of salesforce.com, describe how he started the model and how you can “use the power of the company -- the resources, the people, the technology -- for philanthropic good.”
Here’s the line-up of amazing nonprofit organizations participating at OpenWorld:
